Examples of help

"Friends of Man is by far the best organization out there. I was in a HUGE bind and being a single father, bills were piling up. I just had kidney surgery, and was told I needed dental surgery on top of it. Friends of Man was able to assist with my daycare and groceries to help offset the cost of a much needed surgery."

Fund-raising efforts for the charity are restricted to two mailings a year to our donors. These mailings have the purpose not only of soliciting donations, but of giving our donors an update of the assistance that they make possible with their gifts.

Many Friends of Man donors send checks every month as unsolicited support for the charity, which are greatly appreciated.

Most of our support comes from individuals as well as from corporations, foundations, and churches. Friends of Man receives no government funds, and is not part of any charitable umbrella organization.

Donations to Friends of Man are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Friends of Man is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered and in good standing with the IRS.

Friends of Man respects the privacy of its donors. Our donor list is never sold or shared. Privacy is another reason that we only write twice a year. Donors may opt out of one or both of these mailings at any time by calling or writing.

Friends of Man also provides special advantages for its donors. A donor may request that his or her donation be applied to a specific area of need. In addition, Friends of Man will provide, upon request, information to the donor documenting how their contribution was used.

Donations are most welcome and may be sent to:
